Our client was contracted to engineer, manufacture, install and commission 66 wind turbines located 40km off the coast of Germany.

We first worked with the multi-disciplinary project team to carry out an Early Case Assessment, establish contractual entitlement, determine where money was being lost and find any potential commercial recovery opportunities as well as entitlements to extension of time and LD relief.

When we had performed a detailed analysis, we mobilised a team to complete a commercial claims document setting out the reasoning and causation of the delays and difficulties. At this stage we were able to engage with the managing organisation to find an amicable solution, avoiding the need for costly and lengthy litigation, and ensuring work could continue to complete the project at the earliest opportunity.
